School Mission Statement

Culloden Elementary is dedicated to the mission of preparing our students to become responsible, productive citizens in a positive learning environment and provide them with the components necessary to be lifelong learners in society.

Belief Statement

We believe that each child is a unique individual with an enormous capacity to learn.

We believe…

Our school should provide a positive, safe, and nurturing environment.

·                    The school must work together with the students, parents, and the community to help each child develop creative thinking, build self-esteem, independence, responsible behavior, and respect for others.

·                    Our teachers must motivate learners through meaningful instruction and assessment.

·                    We must provide effective communication to students, parents, and the community.

·                    The school system must promote and utilize state of the art technology to enhance teaching and        learning.

·                    The community and the school system must be responsive and proactive to each other’s needs by sharing resources and support.

·                    Effective communication is essential among school personnel, students, parents, and the community to ensure a quality school system.
